Samantha H. Kravitz, Associate

Ms. Kravitz joined Delaney McKinney, LLP in 2010.  Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia on the Court of Appeals of Maryland.  Before her clerkship, she worked as an associate at a large law firm in Washington, D.C.  During law school, Ms. Kravitz interned for the Honorable Michael J. Algeo on the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, and she served as a student lawyer at the National Association of the Deaf for which she received an Arc of Baltimore Award for Service.  Ms. Kravitz also received the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievement and service to the School of Law. 

Ms. Kravitz received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was Editor in Chief of the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class.  She received her B.S. from Northwestern University.  Before attending law school, Ms. Kravitz worked in television news in Washington, D.C., at CBS News and the local CBS affiliate, WUSA.

 Ms. Kravitz is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.  She is a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County where she serves as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section and Co-Chair of the Mentor/Mentee Committee.  She is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (Member, Family Law Section), D.C. Bar Association (Member, Family Law Section), and the Women’s Bar Associations of Maryland (Montgomery County Chapter) and the District of Columbia.  When Ms. Kravitz is not helping clients, she especially enjoys singing and tap dancing in the annual Montgomery County Bar Revue.
